Boeing Performance Excellence Award

The Boeing Company recently announced that The Conrad Company is the recipient of the 2019 Silver Level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Conrad has maintained a minimum Silver composite performance rating for each month of the performance period from October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019


This year, Boeing recognized 357 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Conrad is one of 295 suppliers worldwide to receive the Silver level of recognition.


“I know the Conrad team puts a lot of effort to produce high quality parts in a timely and cost effective manner,” said Henry L. Valk, President of The Conrad Company. “This award acknowledges that effort and encourages us to continue to deliver this level of performance to Boeing and all of our customers.”


The Conrad Company is a leading manufacturer of specialty parts for military aircraft. Since its founding in 1966, Conrad has earned a reputation for excellent performance. Conrad has been a supplier to Boeing or one of its legacy companies since the 1960s. Conrad has received both Silver or Gold recognition several times in the past and was nominated for Supplier of the Year in 2016.  This performance award is Boeing’s program to recognize suppliers who achieve the high performance standards necessary to meet customer expectations and remain competitive in the global economy. This award validates the commitment that Conrad makes to its customers to deliver a high quality product in a timely fashion at a reasonable price.
